Located in a downtown Fargo condominium, this upper-level renovation transformed an open loft into a luxurious primary suite designed for comfort, functionality, and everyday living. What was once an exercise room became a private retreat featuring a spacious bedroom, spa-inspired bathroom, custom closet, and dedicated makeup area—all thoughtfully integrated within the existing architecture.
Working within the condo's structural constraints required careful planning. Existing fir beams became a defining architectural feature, while the original lighting layout was reimagined with updated fixtures that provided the warmth and illumination the homeowners desired. Because the unit was located on the third floor, every cabinet, countertop, and fixture had to be carefully specified to ensure it could be transported by elevator and installed efficiently.
A double-sided fireplace creates a striking focal point, connecting the bedroom with the bathroom and adding warmth beneath the freestanding soaking tub. Luxury details—including wall-mounted faucets, illuminated floating cabinetry, a Toto bidet, custom tilework, and a thoughtfully designed walk-in closet with a stacked washer and dryer—elevate the suite while making everyday routines effortless. The result is a sophisticated urban sanctuary that seamlessly blends thoughtful functionality with timeless design.
